On Saturday July 19th 2008 Detroit Fire Department Engine Company 31 & Tactical Manpower Squad 4 Located at 1697 W Grand Blvd & Cobb Place celebrated its 100th Year of Service. The original 1937 Engine 31 a 1937 Seagrave Safety Sedan Pumper was also made available for display at the Firehouse and it can also be seen at the Michigan Firehouse Museum in Ypsilanti. Many Current Member and Retired members of the Detroit Fire Department we in attendance. Congrats to Engine Co. 31 & Tactical Manpower Squad 4 for a 100 years of service to the residents of the City of Detroit and Hopefully another 100 to Go....
