On Saturday July 12th 2008, Detroit Central Office dispatched a reported dwelling fire at Evanston & Barrett. Upon arrival of Engine 46 they reported a vacant dwelling going throughout and they were stretching. Chief 9 arrived on scene and established command and requested a 4th engine as the RIT. The fire was was brought under control in aprox. 30 mins using the full box alarm. Engine 46/50/52/58 Ladder 19 Squad 6 and Chief 9 responded to this Box.
