On Wednesday May 28th 2008 Detroit Fire companies responded to a reported dwelling fire at Maxwell & I-94 Service Drive. While enroute Engine 23 reported smoke showing and upon arrival advised they were stretching on 2 dwellings going. The officer of E-23 then requested an extra engine & truck for manpower. The fire was brought under control in aprox. 1 hour using the full box alarm assignment. Engines 23/46/9/52 Ladders 19/10 Squad 3 and Chief 1 responded to this alarm.
